I keep seeing the word hotspots being mentioned next to shoppable videos and I honestly have no idea what that even is or where to begin looking for it. Would be much appreciated if someone here could help me, please. What exactly are hotspots in shoppable videos?

Hotspots in shoppable videos are interactive areas of the screen that stimulate action. For example, clicking on a product to view its details, choosing from an array of answers to a proposed question, or adding something to your cart. 

Hotspots are simply interactive calls-to-action that can be displayed as buttons, clickable text, and images in shoppable videos.
