Is a one-minute shoppable video a good idea?
Asked 2 years ago
Hello. I've been trying to find the perfect duration for my shoppable videos and am in big conflict with myself, as I can't decide. Would you guys say that a one minute shoppable video is a good idea to start with or should I be aiming for longer or shorter?

The ideal length for a shoppable video is going to be different depending on multiple factors such as your audience, and the goal of the video.
As a general guide, product page videos work well when between 1 - 3 minutes, while the landing page videos are best kept shorter at 30 seconds to a minute.
1-minute videos are a good start as they will suit most situations. That said, make sure to experiment with different video lengths to find what works best.
