Should you use synthetic videos for product walkthrough videos?
Asked 2 years ago
I run an e-commerce store for different home DIY tools and I had an idea to use synthetic videos for it and then turn them into branching product demonstration videos with Tolstoy. This makes me wonder, should I use synthetic videos for my product walkthrough videos and is this even possible?
If not, can you suggest something else?

Synthetic videos are great for a variety of marketing needs, but it depends greatly on your products, your goal, as well as how the video is made.
Although synthetic videos can save both costs and time, they are generally not the best idea for product walkthroughs. This is because it's the real-life interaction with a product that brings it close to the customer's attention.
That said, using real products in your synthetic videos could work perfectly, provided you can fully display the item.
